North Texas LTC Online | Effective date: November 1, 2026

  1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://northtexasltconline.com and your purchase and use of its online training services. The website and services are operated by Kelley Unlimited, LLC, doing business as North Texas LTC Online (“we,” “us,” or “our”). “You” means the website user, student, or purchaser, as applicable. A purchaser paying for another student is responsible for payment authorization; the student is responsible for their own training and account use.

Review these Terms and our Refund Policy before purchasing. By affirmatively accepting them at checkout, you agree to those documents. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information; accepting these Terms does not substitute for any separate privacy or marketing consent required by law. If you do not agree to the purchase terms, do not submit an order.

  1. Course scope and licensing requirements

Our online Texas License to Carry course provides the classroom instruction and written examination described in the course offer. Unless an order expressly says otherwise, the purchase does not include range instruction, a handgun proficiency demonstration, firearms or ammunition, fingerprinting, government application fees, or services provided by a separate instructor or business.

We are a private training provider, not the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). Course completion is not a license, permission to possess or carry a firearm, a finding of legal eligibility, or a guarantee that DPS will approve an application. You remain responsible for completing the additional requirements that apply to you and complying with current law. DPS determines licensing eligibility and application outcomes.

  1. Student eligibility and accurate information

Online enrollment through this website is intended for adults who are at least 18. This enrollment rule does not determine whether a person is legally eligible for an LTC or whether an exception under law applies. Contact us before enrolling anyone under 18; do not submit a minor’s information through the ordinary checkout.

Provide your own accurate legal name, email address, date of birth, identification details, and other required training or reporting information. A payer must identify the actual student. Promptly notify us of errors or changed contact details. We may request reasonable clarification needed to match training to the correct person or satisfy DPS reporting requirements. Never send full payment card details or security codes by email.

  1. Accounts and personal completion

Keep account credentials confidential and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. Each purchased enrollment is for the identified student. You must personally complete the required instruction and examination. Do not share an enrollment, impersonate another person, arrange for someone else to take an exam, bypass required instructional steps, or falsify course or identity records.

An enrollment is not transferable after instruction begins. Contact support before instruction starts if an enrollment was purchased for the wrong person. We will review whether a correction, cancellation, or new enrollment is appropriate rather than editing a completed record to identify a different student.

  1. Price and payment authorization

The total price, currency, discounts, and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. A price change does not change a previously accepted order. A single course purchase is a one-time charge unless a separate offer expressly describes recurring payments and you separately authorize them.

Payments are processed through Stripe. The payer must be the cardholder or have the cardholder’s authorization for this specific purchase. We may request supported bank authentication or reasonable payer verification before providing new access. A successful payment does not by itself establish that the student is the cardholder or that a payment cannot later be disputed. We may decline or place an order on hold when payment fails or authorization reasonably requires review.

  1. Indefinite course access

A purchased enrollment provides indefinite access to the purchased online course, with no preset expiration or deadline to finish. Access is subject to these Terms, lawful operation of the service, and reasonable account security requirements. Indefinite access does not mean that you may share an enrollment or repeatedly obtain separate training completions without meeting the requirements that apply.

We may maintain, correct, or update the course and website. Updates do not remove training already truthfully completed. Indefinite access does not guarantee free admission to every separate course or new product we may offer. If we permanently discontinue the purchased course and cannot provide equivalent access, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and provide an appropriate remedy for the access we cannot supply, consistent with the purchase promise and applicable law.

  1. Technical requirements and support

You need a compatible device, internet connection, browser, and email access. Cookies or similar session technologies may be needed for login, checkout, and progress tracking. Contact support about accessibility needs or technical problems before assuming that you must purchase again.

Occasional maintenance or third-party outages may interrupt service. We will make reasonable efforts to address problems within our control. If we cannot provide the purchased service as promised, the remedies in our Refund Policy and any mandatory legal rights remain available. A temporary outage does not create an automatic expiration of indefinite course access.

  1. Examinations and the refund guarantee

You must satisfy the instruction and examination requirements applicable to the course. Support can explain the examination process and any available permitted retake options. We do not promise a passing score or licensing approval.

Our advertised guarantee provides a refund of the online course purchase price if you take the written examination at the end of the course and do not pass it. The Refund Policy explains how to request this refund. The guarantee is not replaced by the general restriction on change-of-mind refunds after instruction begins.

  1. Training reporting and record corrections

After you meet the applicable course and examination requirements, we record and report training through the process DPS requires. Submission, acceptance, and license issuance are different events. We do not promise a DPS processing time or describe pending or rejected submissions as accepted.

Please report inaccurate personal or training information promptly. We will review corrections and use the applicable reporting procedure. A billing disagreement does not erase the historical fact of valid training, and we will not falsify a DPS record or use a false report as a payment-collection tool. Required training records may be retained even if an account is closed or a payment is refunded.

  1. Refunds and billing concerns

Our Refund Policy forms part of the purchase agreement and controls refund eligibility. It includes a seven-calendar-day cancellation window before instruction begins, the exam-failure guarantee, and appropriate remedies for duplicate charges or service failures. Read the full policy before paying.

If you have a billing concern, contact support so we can investigate. Contacting us is encouraged, not a prerequisite to exercising rights with your bank or card issuer. We may supply relevant purchase, agreement, communication, training, and reporting records to Stripe or an issuer to address a dispute as permitted by law. No clause prohibits a legitimate dispute or authorizes an automatic chargeback penalty or an unapproved new charge.

  1. Permitted use and intellectual property

We and our licensors retain the rights in the website, original course content, videos, examinations, graphics, and other protected materials. Your enrollment grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive right to use the purchased course for your training. You may keep and use your own legitimate order and training records.

Except as permitted by law or with written permission, do not reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly display, or record protected course content or examination questions. Do not scrape accounts or student data, interfere with website operation, distribute malware, bypass access controls, or use the service for unlawful activity. These restrictions do not limit fair use or other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

  1. Suspension and termination

We may temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary to address suspected account compromise, unlawful conduct, cheating, or a material violation of these Terms. Where practical, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to respond or correct it. Contact support to request review of a restriction.

Restrictions will be proportionate to the issue. A disputed payment alone is not proof of misconduct and does not automatically invalidate completed training. If we permanently stop providing paid access, we will assess any refund or other remedy owed under the purchase terms and law. Closing an account does not require deletion of records that must be retained.

  1. Safety and educational information

Course materials provide education and do not constitute personalized legal advice. Laws and agency procedures can change. Consult current official sources and a qualified attorney when you need advice about your circumstances. Follow the instructions of a qualified instructor for any separate hands-on training and handle firearms only when and where lawful and safe.

Nothing in these Terms creates a waiver of liability for personal injury or unlawful conduct. Our online course is not a substitute for supervised practical training where such training is required.

  1. Third-party services

Payment processors, government agencies, fingerprinting services, and independent range instructors operate under their own applicable terms and privacy practices. A link or referral does not mean that we control that organization or guarantee its services. Any separate third-party fee or cancellation policy is that provider’s responsibility unless your order expressly states that we supply the service.

  1. Warranties and limitations

We will provide the service described in the accepted offer and honor our express refund commitments. Beyond those commitments and warranties required by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, a particular licensing result, or that course information will address every legal or safety situation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or course, including lost profits. This limitation does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be limited, breach of an express refund obligation, or any other liability or remedy that applicable law protects. No term reduces a nonwaivable consumer right.

  1. Governing law and resolving concerns

Texas law and applicable federal law govern these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise. Please contact support if a problem arises so we can try to resolve it. You may pursue claims in a court with lawful jurisdiction, including small claims court when appropriate. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a jury trial, impose a class-action waiver, or restrict complaints to a regulator.

  1. Changes and existing purchases

We may update these Terms for future purchases and website use. We will identify the effective date and provide notice of material changes as required. An update does not retroactively remove an existing refund promise, shorten the indefinite access sold with an enrollment, or change the agreed price. If a change requires your affirmative agreement or separate consent under law, we will request it.

  1. General provisions and contact

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, the Refund Policy, and the specific course offer accepted with your order describe the purchase agreement; a more specific express promise in that offer remains enforceable. The Privacy Policy is a notice of data practices and is not a waiver of privacy rights.
